ARCHIVES Where History Comes Alive ******************************************** What can I find in the archives? ECHS contains a substantial archive facility, including: Photographs Maps & atlases Obituaries Newspaper clippings Books & Yearbooks Court records City directories And much more! *************************************************************** Founded in 1984, the archival holdings contain information about the people, places,  and events pertinent to Ellis County.  From photographs to record books to newspaper articles, the archives has information dating from the 1860s to the present.
