If you schedule in advance, the museum has twenty to thirty minute in-house and on-ground tours to offer to your class. You may choose from the following tours: One-Room School (in house), Volga German Haus (on-grounds), and Harness Shop (on-grounds). Our Hays Fire Dept. Museum (on-grounds) is still in the building stage.       Don't forget to pre-register for 2013 Pioneer Day - May 8, 2013. Please send the following information: time you would like to arrive, number of children & adults coming, grades of children, teacher's name, and email of teacher to visitors@elliscountyhistoricalsociety.org   Traveling Demonstrations are available with advance registration (in Ellis County, Kansas area only) to go to your school or place of business for a donation of $25.  Choose from the following presentations/demos: Early Ellis County & Hays History ; Justus Bissing, Jr ; or Toys and Games of Long Ago.  We can also provide Power Point presentations to your business.
