The Ellis County Historical Society Museum is located in Hays, Kansas.  We are halfway between Kansas City, Missouri, and Denver, Colorado.  It's a great place to visit. While you are stretching your legs, take a walking tour of historic downtown Hays.  Brochures are available at the museum. From Interstate 70, take exit 159 (Highway 183/Vine Street) and turn south.  Stay on Vine Street until you come to 13th Street. Turn right (west) on 13th Street and follow to Main Street.  At Main Street, turn left (south).  This is the historic area of Hays.  We are on the corner of 7th Street and Main Street (7th Street is a one-way street going west).
